Hello Everyone! My name is Jessica Jensen and I will your child's teacher for the 2018-2019 school year!
A little bit about me: I have a beautiful family that consists of my father, step-mother, sister, and brother-in-law. I have a massive sweet tooth for Starburst Jellybeans and glazed doughnuts. I have a huge passion in life for helping students develop their social-emotional learning, being mindful of their self/feelings, and helping them find their passion for learning. I went to school in Round Rock ISD. I attended Anderson Mill Elementary for 1st-5th Grade. Then, I went onto Grisham Middle School for 6th-8th grade. Finally, I attended Westwood High School for 9th-12th Grade. I graduated from Westwood in May of 2012. While I attended all of these schools, they were recognized as IB schools. Therefore, I am familiar with the IB program from both a student and teacher perspective. Once I graduated from Westwood, I moved to Missoula, Montana to attend the University of Montana! I received my Bachelor's Degree, with honors, in Elementary Education with a concentration in Math Education. I am certified K-8 in Montana and EC-6 in Texas with an ESL certification. I recently also became certified to teach TAG students. I'm very excited to kick-off another great school year soon! |
